Young Thug, an Atlanta rapper, said that an apartment concierge allowed an unidentified person to take his Louis Vuitton bag containing about 200 songs and more than $100,000 in jewelry and cash.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the performer is suing the company that manages his apartment complex and its concierge company.
According to the newspaper, neither JLB Peachtree or concierge company Pegasus Residential have responded to requests for comment on the lawsuit filed last Wednesday in Gwinnett County Superior Court by Jeffery Williams (30), whose stage name was Young Thug.
The lawsuit claims that Trace Apartments’ concierge placed the bag in a safe location after the rapper left it near his car on Nov. 1, 2020. However, another employee gave it to another person.
According to the lawsuit, the bag was missing a hard drive containing 200 songs unreleased that were worth at least $1,000,000.
According to the lawsuit, the bag contained $40,000 in cash and a $57,000 diamond-encrusted timepiece. It also included a $37,000 chain with inset diamants and a $37,000 watch.
