Soccer Aid 2024 Half-Time Show: Tom Walker to Perform

Soccer Aid is set to return for its 13th year, with two teams of celebrities and former footballers coming together to raise money for UNICEF. This year, the half-time show at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge will feature singer-songwriter Tom Walker.

Tom, 32, gained fame with his hit single “Leave a Light On” in 2018, which reached number 7 on the UK charts. His album “What a Time to Be Alive” topped the charts in the following year. He was awarded Best Breakthrough Act at the 2019 Brit Awards and his single “Leave a Light On” was nominated for Best British Single.

Originally from Kilsyth, Scotland, Tom moved to Chelford in Cheshire at a young age. Joining him at Soccer Aid 2024 will be a mix of footballing legends and celebrities, including Sir Mo Farah, Steven Bartlett, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, David James, Gary Cahill, and Joe Cole on the England team. The World XI FC will feature returning favorites such as Usain Bolt, Roman Kemp, Martin Compston, and Roberto Carlos.

The event will be managed by Frank Lampard for Team England and Mauricio Pochettino for Team World XI. The live show will be hosted by UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O’Leary, with commentary from Alex Scott, Sam Matterface, and Iain Stirling.

Soccer Aid 2024 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 9th at Stamford Bridge. It promises to be an exciting event for both the fans in the stadium and those watching at home.
