General Director of the Russian anti-doping Agency Yuri Hanus reported that his organization was known in advance about the disqualification of the Russian biathlete Evgeny Ustyugov, who was stripped of the gold medal of the Olympic games-2014 in Sochi.
“we Have such information on Ustyugov. We were told about it. We were waiting for the official statement from the Federation of the Union of biathletes of Russia”, – quotes Hanusa RIA Novosti.
Recall that the international biathlon Union disqualified the 34-year-old Russian biathlete because of the use of prohibited substances. Ustyugov lost gold of the Sochi Olympics, which he won as part of the Russian relay.
