Mexico City is a large metropolitan city located in the south-central part of Mexico. This huge city has over 20 million residents and offers beautiful sights to see and fun activities to do. There are several places of interest to discover during your trip to this place.
If you want to explore some hidden gems, then visit the Insurgentes Sur area, where you can find interesting restaurants and cafes. If you are looking for something more adventurous, try the ‘Tramadero’ area, which is a lively neighbourhood filled with bars and clubs. Whatever you choose, just go for it and have fun just like when playing real real money casino games.
1) Visit the Zocalo (Independence Square).
This is one of the biggest squares in Mexico City and sits right next to Congress. Take a stroll around the square, or enjoy some live music performances at night. The plaza is also home to many historical monuments like the Cathedral, the National Palace and the House of Pena Gomez.
2) Enjoy a Cerveza en el Tramway.
This is an old tram that takes passengers through the centre of Mexico City. It’s definitely worth taking a ride on if you’re ever visiting this busy city. The ticket price may look expensive at MXN$30, but it’s only because there aren’t any other options available. To enjoy your beer, simply hop off at the stop closest to the nearest bar!
3) See what’s going on at the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
One of the best spots in Mexico City was the Palacio de Bello Artes. This art museum houses some stunning pieces from artists across the world. The museum’s main attractions were the murals inside of the Teatro Degollado by Diego Rivera. Rivera was an artist who painted political slogans in the 1930s, mostly criticizing the Mexican Government.
4) Drink some mezcal.
Mezcal is traditionally made from agaves, however, synthetic ones are used today as well. Mezcal is typically served ice cold in a silver tequila glass after being mixed with water and maybe a slice or two of lime. Try it mixed into a cocktail with soda water!
