Etihad Airways Launches Global Recruitment Program for 1,000 New Cabin Crew Members
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is on the lookout for 1,000 new cabin crew members to join its ranks by the end of this year. The airline has already recruited more than 1,000 cabin attendants in the earlier part of the year and is now expanding its team further.
Open Days are scheduled to take place starting in June and continuing through the end of the year in 19 locations globally. These locations include major cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Athens, Vienna, Singapore, and Johannesburg, among others.
Dr. Nadia Bastaki, Etihad’s Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer, expressed the airline’s excitement about the recruitment drive, noting that they are seeking exceptional individuals who share the company’s vision of becoming the preferred airline for travelers worldwide.
Successful applicants can look forward to a competitive salary, modern accommodation, medical insurance, and a range of allowances and discounts. Etihad’s cabin crew members hail from 112 different nationalities, adding to the diversity and richness of the team.
In addition to the attractive benefits package, cabin crew members will have the opportunity to travel to over 70 destinations across multiple continents, serving on various aircraft types including the Airbus A380 and A350, as well as Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 777s.
Etihad emphasizes that career progression opportunities are abundant within the company, with a significant percentage of cabin crew members having been promoted to roles in different divisions over the past year. For those unable to attend an Open Day in person, there is also an option to apply online and participate in a virtual recruitment process.
