The British Parliament dissolved itself before the election in early July. Since 00:01 (local time, 01:01 CEST) on Thursday, all 650 seats in the House of Commons have been vacant.

In five weeks, the successors will be elected, who will sit in parliament from July 9. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced July 4 as the date for the parliamentary election last week. The Conservatives have had the majority in Great Britain for 14 years, but this could change. The Tories are currently far behind the Labour Party in polls.
