Glenn Irwin, a rider for PBM Ducati, had a tough break at Brands Hatch during the British Superbike event. Despite starting from 15th place due to a crash during qualifying, Irwin managed to work his way up to fourth position before unfortunately crashing out on lap 15 of 20. Thankfully, Irwin only suffered an ankle injury and was able to escape relatively unharmed.

The first race of the weekend saw Danny Kent take his first British Superbike win on his Yamaha, with Ryan Vickers coming in second, Tommy Bridewell in third on his Honda, and Kyle Ryde in fourth place. With defending champion Bridewell trailing Ryde by just one point, the competition was heating up going into the final two races on Sunday. However, Irwin’s chances of securing his first British Superbike title are now slim to none as he sits in third place overall.

On a brighter note, Jack Kennedy from Dublin secured his fifth British Supersport title by winning the opening race at Brands. This victory solidified his lead at the top of the championship standings. In the National Superstock event, Luke Mossey from Milenco by Padgett’s Honda emerged victorious, with Scott Swann finishing fourth and David Allingham in seventh place.

Looking ahead to the final race on Sunday, Joe Talbot managed to secure second place, narrowing the gap between himself and third-placed Davey Todd to just eight points. The competition is fierce, and fans can expect an exciting conclusion to the British Superbike event at Brands Hatch.
