Nineteen other Quebecers have lost their lives as a result of COVID-19, according to the latest government report.
Among the 19 deaths announced on Tuesday, 11 date back two to seven days and eight to more than seven days.
Since the start of the pandemic, the government has recorded 18,209 deaths related to the disease.
Hospitalizations were however on a downward slope as for a few days. In all, 1,279 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized, including 405 who are receiving care specifically for the disease, which represents a decrease of 25.
In intensive care, the balance sheet fell by three to 33, including 18 patients who are in this unit due to COVID-19.
The number of new cases once again remains relatively low, at 483, but remember that this data does not give the full picture of the situation since access to screening centers is restricted.
Quebecers also reported 23 positive rapid tests on Monday.
On the vaccination side, 1,642 doses were administered on Monday.
