Tragedy Strikes: Fatal Incident at Waikanae Beach on Kāpiti Coast
The tragic incident took place at Napier Grove in Waikanae, located north of Wellington. Authorities have initiated a homicide investigation following the death of a man on the Kāpiti Coast. It is suspected that the man was stabbed during an altercation at around 4:20 pm.
Detective Senior Sergeant Pete Middlemiss stated that the victim received medical attention at the scene but sadly succumbed to his injuries. A cordon has been established, and a thorough scene examination will be conducted in the coming days. Another individual, who was acquainted with the victim, is cooperating with the police in their investigation.
