Two other bodies, the sixth and seventh, were extricated Monday from the rubble of the building burned on March 16 in Old Montreal.
Police and firefighters responsible for the search also confirmed the identities of four of the victims whose remains were discovered in the ruins in the past few days.
They are An Wu, 31, Dania Zafar, 31, Saniya Khan, 31, and Nathan Sears, 35.
A first victim, Camille Maheux, 76, was identified last week.
“We are continuing our search, but we have no indication that there are other victims,” said Inspector David Shane, spokesman for the Montreal Police Service, during the interview. a press briefing on Monday in front of the burnt building.
Dogs, accompanied by their volunteer handlers, were used to locate the bodies of the last three victims, Inspector Shane revealed.
