Sam Williams claims that his spirit, car and money were taken in a private video.
Hank Williams Jr.‘s youngest child, Sam Williams, posted this week a video claiming that his father and half-sister put him in a conservatorship, and he wants out.
Sam uploaded a silent video to YouTube this week. It shows him holding up a piece of white paper and writing, “I WANT OUT!” Since then, the video has been made private and can’t be viewed.
According to reports, Williams claimed that his father Hank, a songwriter and singer, placed him in the conservatorship 55 days after his sister Katie Williams Dunning’s death in a car accident.
Sam, who is also a musician and has worked with Dolly Parton and Keith Urban, shared the video to his Twitter account on Feb. 2, writing “Please watch..conservatorship.”
Whoops! This Tweet was not available.
Sam wrote in the caption of the video: “I’ve kept quiet for a while now. I don’t mind people finding out that I want to get out of this. They took my grief process and my spirit, as well as my money, home, and my home in an attempt to ‘protect’ me. They are my protectors.”
It continues via TMZ. Since my dear Katie left to go home, I have tried my hardest to get my broken heart back. This is not what I deserve. It is scary, but it is the only thing I can do. I feel ashamed for my family and embarrassed. I am beyond done. I have my spirit back. Get. Me. Out. Please.”
Fox News requested comment from Hank Williams Jr. but was not immediately returned by the reps.
According to the outlet, records show that Sam, country music’s star, filed a petition in August 2020 for an emergency conservatorship. The conservatorship status is not known.
According to reports, his sister Katie was killed in a car accident on June 13, 2020.
