Tonight, Rangers and Celtic meet in a midweek Old Firm Derby for the first time since 11 years.
Parkhead’s home team will enter the match with two points behind the leaders. They won’t have the opportunity to include new signing Aaron Ramsey, as he isn’t yet match fit.
Callum McGregor could be back as Celtic’s captain after sustaining a facial injury in the previous two matches.
Ange Postecoglou is the manager and he has been trying to get one message across to his players.
He stated, “I am pretty consistent in saying that our approach can change depending on circumstances, whether it’s domestically or in Europe,”
“I believe that players must believe in something. If you believe in it and hold it close to your heart, it is part of you.
“In this context, it could be that you are one-nil down and it’s 0-0 and you need a goal. We don’t have to change our approach as that’s what we’ve done from the beginning. We attack the opposition and try to score goals.
“Sometimes, when you have a different approach to things, you end up in situations where you need to defend or chase a game. If you start changing your ways and cutting corners, it leaves you vulnerable.
“We aren’t there yet, but I can sense that the group is beginning to believe in something. That belief is irrevocable.
“Whatever your life is like, it would take something extreme to get you off your path. That includes me and the team I want to work with.”
Since September 2019, Celtic have not beaten Rangers in this league, and they haven’t since December 2018.
