The Miami Heat enjoyed a very successful offseason. It included the addition of six-time NBA All-Star Kyle Lowry and NBA Champion. Lowry was not the only key addition to the Miami Heat.
P.J. Tucker’s addition was a double-positive. They got him for themselves, but took him away from the reigning NBA Champions. This team knocked out the Miami Heat in last year’s playoffs.
Another tough, rugged Miami Heat-type man was also added to the Miami Heat.
They got Markieff, a man who could not only come in to play multiple roles for them, which Coach Spoelstra will appreciate, but also someone capable of producing with a certain amount of physicality and intensity to his game.
All of this was displayed against the Orlando Magic on Monday night. The kerfuffle between him and his senior Wagner brother from Magic is one example. However, his offensive production is another point of evidence.
