the Presidents reaffirmed their agreement that in case of aggravation of the situation with regard to external threats, the parties will respond jointly, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement on collective security.
on 14 August the Belarusian Central election Commission announced the final results of the presidential election. According to the electoral Commission of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko voted for 80.1% of the voters. Despite the official announcement of the voting results, Belarus continuing street clashes between security forces and protesters, unhappy with the results of the presidential elections on August 9.
