The man behind this successful business, Ewan Morrice, has been in the industry since he left school and opened his first shop in 1996. Ewan Morrice, who is battling the early stages of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), considers his shops to be safe spaces and a source of comfort for him. Despite his health challenges, he finds joy and comfort in interacting with his customers, whom he views as an extended family. His son James also plays a significant role in the business, managing the Peterhead branch and recently completing the Craft Butchers Diploma of Scotland.
